Dear Parents/Carers,

RE: Election Process – Aldersley High School Parent Governors.

As you may recall we recently informed you that Aldersley High School had two parent Governor vacancies on their Local Governing Board. We asked any parents/carers who had an interest in becoming a school governor to put their name forward, via an expression of interest.

I am delighted to inform you that 8 candidates have submitted their expression of interests for the parent governor role and therefore an election will now take place, and the two candidates who receive the highest number of votes, will be appointed to the School’s Governing Board as Parent Governors.

You will have received an email with details of the applicants and a link to a Microsoft voting form, please use this to cast your vote.

Alternatively ballot papers are available at the school office, and can be posted in the ballot box, which will be displayed in school reception area from Tuesday 4th January 2022.

Please note that voting will close at 3.30pm on Friday 14th January 2022.

I look forward to introducing you to our newly elected parent governors In the New Year.

Yours Sincerely

Aimee Huntington

Head of School
